Update (2/4/09 11:03 AM): In keeping with the theme of the blog, I want to say something extra about this piece. This isn’t exactly “breaking news”. I saw this on SOHH.com this morning. This is a hip-hop site more known for hip-hop music coverage than government and politics. They cover Obama as if he’s a celebrity, not a politician. This item was new… back in 2007 (NY Post). It can also be seen in two Chicago publications.
Next time, when I want to comment on current news items, I will NOT get it from a source that don’t usually break this type of stuff on a daily basis. I’m sorry that I made a big deal out of this.
Now to present to you… a weird theory. Is it possible that all that all the Presidents are apart of a bloodline so no matter who gets elected, they are all from the same bloodline?
Okay, maybe it’s a little bit far fetch, but after Barack Obama and Dick Cheney have been discovered as “distant cousins”, CBS News decided to dig futher. Turns out that President Barack Obama and Former President George Bush, as well as a lot of Abraham Lincoln, John Kerry, Madonna, Princess Di, and Vlad the Impaler (who inspired the legend of Dracula) are all linked.

Some people know this, and others may not, but I am a web and graphic designer. I’m thankful to have been blogging, via good and bad times, for almost a year. I’m also thankful that we elected someone of historical propositions. So, I decided to give away one of my backgrounds. I’ve been trying to “complete it” for a while now, but it seems to be complete enough.

Presidential Layth the Smackdown #1: Ed Henry
Public speaking. It’s the #1 fear next to death (according to come study that no one seems to reference). And yet, to be honest with you, I love watching when the President speaks… for the wrong reasons.
I started to get interested in politics when I enrolled in JROTC in high school on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. There was this one time when I was serving the honor guard and was assigned to honor a visit from the then-current commander in chief, Bill Clinton. However, it would this clip that helps pushed the “wrong reasons” angle.
(More after the jump)
