The sounds and rhythms that the Mixman produces are outstanding!!! I still use mine, but I never left XP, ’cause I didn’t see the need, so it’s all good. The Mixman website still offers a few D-Plates for download, but I’m wondering if anyone has any of the ones that are unavailable? I’ve used Fruity Loops, Reason, Kontakt…. and I would say just for the sake of simplicity, that Mixman is a better piece of software. Too bad to see it go *?#)$@

Wow… I was also a user of mixman in college right around 1998/1999… Came back to see what they are up to… They are no longer. Too bad it was a great idea.

great post …i think it is a gerat product but, unfortenly the owner not have software’s option for play

Yes, it worked under Vista... but only if you use XP mode. There's also some visual problems with it, making the software close to useless. Plus, the version I had wasn't really a legit version (I wanted to try it before buying it). I deleted it after a couple of days.

I suggest you try something else altogether. It's not worth trying to get working.

nice article. You say you just tried a version of studioXpro on vista and it worked? I am curious because multiple posts I have searched claim that is fails to work on Vista. Did you apply updates or patches? It appears support and downloads are unavailable from manufacturer. I would love a little more info regarding performance and installation with vista if you could – thanks
