Hiatus: See Y’all During March Madness…

Hiatus: A break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc.

Good news! I’m getting an “edumacation”! Sadly, it’s a boot camp session, and I’ll be way to busy to post up more thoughts. I will be focusing on getting a new skill and once I have that, then I will be able to get more free time. Also, it have nothing to do with the certifications (posted on deviantArt and my personal blog on my.life-remixed.com).

So, I will see you guys March 1st. So, check out my.life-remixed.com in the meantime. I’m pretty sure there’s a ruckus going on… I mean, after all…  we are talking about how Jazz is connected to Hip-Hop, the political discussions are getting rather interesting, and some of y’all are posting pictures up… talk about a party.

Oh… and Slapnutz’ being his usual self

Beanie Sigel feat. Rock City: Go Low [Music Video]

Posting a hardcore rap video? What the hell? Well, even a guy like me like it every once in a while. But this one hits a little closer to home.  I used to be trained and performed along with a group called 2-EKWHIP while I lived on St. Thomas. Brothers Timothy and Theron both grew up into Rock City (this is a reference to St. Thomas, which is nicknamed "Rock City"). Rock City are brothers with a twist of Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae/Dancehall.
Rock City’s are more known for their song writing capabilities. They wrote songs for Akon, Mario, Sean Kingston and even Janet Jackson (screw y’all… I wanted to write one for her. Oh well. Y’all beat me to her.)
Their first album called "Wake The Neighbors" will be out soon underneath Akon’s Konvict Music, which makes perfect sense. It’s hard to place them anywhere else. You can listen to their first single on their MySpace page.
Shine on, Rock City… shine on… it’s about damn time.

Obama’s Representative Stumped Moment

Just to balance out stuff, I’m going to give you this moment which is extremely rare: A news reporter asking a direct question… and trying to get a direct answer without any spins. Sadly, it’s a representative from Obama’s camp…

So when you are running for anything and you send someone to represent you, make sure they can answer "accomplishments".

Hillary’s A Stripper… [Do You!]

I hope you find this as entertaining as I did.

On the flip side… I should showcase some more talent. So, I’ll try and do that.

I’m More Scared Of Your Supporters & You, Ms. Clinton…

hillary-clinton-total-recall

You know, win or lose, I think either Senator Obama or Senator Clinton is a lot better than Senator John McCain. In my lifetime, I hope to see a black president or a woman run the office. But what’s more important is the issues at sake here. So, let’s all remember… that no matter who wins the Democratic party, we should all unify to make sure that whoever we want in the office wins. We want a better solution to the current problems facing the world today. And the more energy that person has, the better they will get into office…

… so with this in mind, I am not all that thrilled about the supporters of Senator Clinton. I read in the New York AM today that two of Clinton’s supporters will not vote for Obama if Clinton loses the primary. Now, I am a strong supporter of who will get the job done best and I feel that Obama is the better candidate. And as time goes on, Senator Clinton and her team have been doing some rather… questionable stuff.
