Davey D, a hip-hop Journalist and DJ, wrote a post in his myspace blog about Obama being pressured to reject his Church and ideals. Here’s a highlight of the post.
How many of us go to Churches that say ‘No’ to gays and gay marriage, yet many of us reject that precept and support gay rights? How many of us have seen traditional religious teachings put women in back seat, yet many of us ignore that? So why can’t someone allowed to sit before Farrakhan and accept and reject thoughts and teachings in the same vein. Many listen to this brother speak and have yet to get up and start praying to Allah, so I’m quite sure if he actually does say something offensive or even outlandish then folks are intelligent enough to say ‘no’ without the help of the ADL, Sean Hannity or anyone else…

Ms. Dynamite is a female MC from across the pond (London, England). She’s basically a soulful Missy Elliot with a dash of Alliyah thrown in. With all the charm and characteristics of being part Caribbean, part Hip-Hop and R&B singer, you think that mix would work well in the US. However, her promotion in the US wasn’t well received, so they keep her promotion only in London.
So, check out her debut video, Dy-Na-Mi-Tee and see for yourself why she should be "buzzworthy".
I know. I’ve been MIA for a few days. Well, due to cut backs, I won’t be able to post as often.
However, the real problem is more on what to post. It seems that my "little hater" is on my back again, especially since with the Boondocks news postings. I want a lot of quality posts and there were some ideas that I wanted to put up, but I want to develop them a bit more. I hate being sloppy with my work.
So, give it some time. I’ll post when I have the time and when I find something of interest. After all…
It seems that the Boondocks most controvestial episodes that focus on BET will not only show up on Adult Swim, but may also be pulled from the DVD. Today’s linkup is to HipHopDX.com covering the ban episodes as well as to why they been banned:
Rumor has it the higher ups at BET have been pressuring Sony behind the scenes for months to yank the episodes, including threatening legal action. Now I’m pretty biased as a BET hater, but it’s sad the people in charge over there are more worried about being teased by a cartoon than producing good television. Not surprising, but still sad.

For the Music Video of the Day, I figured Saul Williams, a spoken word artist. He done a cover of U2’s staple “Sunday, Bloody Sunday” on his lastest album The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! This video was just released. Enjoy.
