Obama Snubs

What’s the big freaking deal with this damn picture? And why is this well taken photo getting more press than The State of the Union?

Are we as Americans this stupid to vote on every little action? It seems that ever since the start of this race, the media is using every trick in the book to paint Sen. Hilliary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama to develop drama and tension between these two. What is this? The Media is basically fucking with our emotions. Instead of reporting the news, it’s reporting this as if the 10 o’clock news is looking for a juicy story like April O’ Neil and the New York Times is writing this out like the latest novel.

Media… wake up… seriously… you need a wake up call… This is the type of thing we would expect out of John Stewart… when he’s playing “Jon Stewart”… not the damn press! I mean, have you guys NOT learned what Jon Stewart said during the last election?

Come on… wake the F up. This is for a high seat in the US. The highest seat in the World even… and if you’re going to treat this like Big Brother: Presidential Edition, please let me know now.

In other news… Senator John Edwards dropped out of race, which now gives more votes for either Clinton or Obama when Super Tuesday (this coming Tuesday) comes around. At press time, he did not endorse either candidate. I still say he’s going to be a running mate. (I don’t think Clinton wants the Vice-President seat. But that’s just me talking here)

On the Republican side, “America’s Mayor” FINALLY DROPPED OUT! At last, Republican Representative Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani back out of the race and endorses John McCain, a guy who I rather see running. Hopefully, Giluliani will just bow out of politics in general… because when a certain ex-mayor critized you more the previous mayor, you should take a hint… you’re not really someone who should run a country when your own city taps their collective toe at you…

Striply Drama’s Still Here… and a Lil’ Cold…

Silly me. I forgot to renew the Striply Drama domain name. The comic is still going to be running, I just need time to find an artist, which is not high on my "to do list" right now. Right now, it’s more about getting over this head cold.

Yep. No news and everything because of a few cut backs and a head cold. But no worries. I’ll be posting a bit today about a few things. But I just want you to know that Striply Drama is still around… just waiting for an artist. If you like to try your hand at being an artist for Striply Drama (for a lil’ pay), check out the site for details.

What to do if you’re laid off [LinkUp]

Wow… Productive Tactics isn’t getting a lot of love. I gotta pay more attention to this baby here.

Anywayz, needless to say, with the recession going on, you might have to make ends meet. (Which includes yours truly. I’m lucky to find some time today to post as much as I can.) If you need some pointers on how to find a job, tech evangelist and active blogger,  Robert Scoble, do have a few pointers. Also, I’m throwing in Web Worker’s Daily post called "5 Ways to Recession-Proof Your Career" on LinkUps.

Enjoy the posts.

"The Nationalist Movement" Protesting the "Jena 6" [Video]

This video is a bit late, but I figured that this is something worth covering. On Monday, a group called "The Nationalist Movement" went to Jena,LA to protest against the "Jena 6". According to the AP, "A crowd mostly made up of members of the media listened as four white separatists demanded white rights, severe prosecution of six black teens accused of beating a white classmate and an end to the Martin Luther King holiday."
While the "movement" have been somewhat delayed, they consider the movement a success. Of course, I don’t understand what "white rights" are, especially since they done this on the day that honored a civil rights leader that were for equal rights.
With the political race and everything else going on, my guess is that this country is going to see the WORSE in race related issues this year. We’re going to eventually break out of this comfort zone that we are still trapped in. How it will happen depends on how we look at the issues. We can’t end racism. But we can at least teach unity and apperception for one another. Don’t believe it? Well, if you’re thinking that way, how the hell are we suppose to do? What’s the name of this site, dammit?!?!
